Q1 2021 Performance of Top Simulation/Adventure Games on iOS in Latin America

In the first quarter of 2021, the simulation and adventure game category on the iOS platform saw varied performances across top titles in Latin America. Sensor Tower provides detailed insights, and here we delve into the numbers of the top five games in this segment.

PK XD: Fun, friends & games by Afterverse Games showcased a robust quarter with downloads peaking at 53K in late January and weekly active users reaching a high of 292K in late March. Despite minor fluctuations, the game maintained a strong presence with consistent engagement.

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery from Jam City, Inc. experienced a more modest quarter. The game's downloads trended downwards from 13K in late December to around 4K by the end of March. Weekly active users also displayed a slight decline, closing the quarter at approximately 44K.

For Hollywood Story®: Fashion Star, published by nanobitsoftware.com, the quarter began with a revenue peak of 8K in early February but saw a decrease to 5K by the quarter's end. Downloads hit a high of around 6K in early March, and weekly active users saw their peak at 28K, also in early March.

Scary Teacher 3D by GenITeam LLC had a quieter quarter, with revenues hovering around the lower hundreds of dollars and downloads ranging between 2K and 3K. Weekly active users showed a more positive trajectory, growing from 19K in late December to 23K by the end of March.

Lastly, LEGO® Star Wars™: TCS from Warner Bros. saw a revenue dip to 579 USD in mid-March before recovering to 938 USD by quarter's end. The game's downloads spiked at 3.8K in late February, while weekly active users experienced a slight increase, ending the quarter at around 14K.
